Key things every donor should know — before, during, and after donating blood.
Eat & Hydrate First
Have a nutritious meal and drink 500 ml of extra water 2–3 hours before donating.
Stay Calm & Still
Relax during donation. Inform staff immediately if you feel dizzy or unwell.
Rest & Recover
Sit for 10–15 min after donating, drink fluids, and avoid heavy lifting for 5 hours.
Every 90 Days
Whole blood can be donated once every 3 months. Mark it in your calendar — every drop counts.
Age 18–60, 50 kg+
Anyone aged 18–60 weighing at least 50 kg and in good health is eligible to donate.
O− is Universal
O− blood can be given to anyone in an emergency. AB+ can receive from all blood groups.

Generally, anyone aged 18–60 who weighs at least 50 kg and is in good health. You should not donate if you have a fever, recent illness, or pregnancy. Consult a doctor if unsure.
Log in, go to Dashboard → Create Donation Request, fill in the blood group, hospital, and urgency. Your request goes live instantly and is visible to matching donors.
Whole blood can be donated once every 3 months (90 days). Platelets can be donated every 2 weeks. This gives your body time to fully recover.
Yes — completely free for donors and patients. Creating an account, searching for donors, and posting blood requests all cost nothing.
Pending — awaiting a donor. In-Progress — a donor has been found. Done — donation completed. Canceled — request was withdrawn.
